Big Data Cluster Administrator
We are looking for candidates with a professional profile of "Big Data Cluster Administrator" for our offices in Pisa, Florence, Milan, Rome, with the possibility of working partially in a smart-working environment.
The selected persons will be part of our Business Line dedicated to the design, implementation and operational management of complex Big Data infrastructures, mainly on Cloudera / Hadoop technology.
Specific experience in the role is required.
The ideal candidate must necessarily have the following skills:
GENERAL SKILLS

In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system (RHEL reference distribution);

Solid knowledge of networking and security issues;

Knowledge of JEE environments;

Knowledge of tuning techniques (resource allocation, performance analysis, troubleshooting) at the operating system and Big Data infrastructure level;
-
Knowledge of virtualization systems;
-
Knowledge of cloud systems;
-
Mastery of remote access techniques (vpn, ssh, vnc, rdp);

Knowledge of systems and services monitoring techniques;
-
Familiarity with the creation of bash scripts for the automation of administrative tasks;
-
Teamwork.
BIG DATA SKILLS
-
Hadoop ecosystem;
-
HDFS architecture, HBase;
-
Hadoop installation and setup;
-
Tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting of: HDFS, YARN, Hive / Impala, Spark Jobs;

Cluster hardening: Kerberos, Sentry, Encryption.
The following knowledge will constitute qualifying elements:

Cloudera Hadoop distribution (CDH 5.x, CDH 6.x, CDP, Cloudera Manager / Director, Cloudera Navigator);

Oracle Big Data Appliance (administration);

Apache Kafka (setup / tuning / monitoring);

Amazon AWS;

Solutions for Continuous Integration;

RDBMS systems (PostgreSql, MySql, Oracle DB);

NoSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra);

Apache httpd, NGINX;

Apache Tomcat, JBoss;

Versioning systems (svn, git);

Perl and Python languages;

English language.
